Il n'aura tenu qu’une dizaine de secondes. Le temps d’un battement de paupières. Kola Sucré a été rapidement expédié par son compatriote Serge Ndjock, lors d’un combat de MMA à Yaoundé, dans la nuit du vendredi 4 juillet 2025.
Le web-comédien, reconverti dans les sports de combat, renoue ainsi avec les déconvenues. En mai dernier, pourtant, il croyait enfin tenir le bon bout après son exploit dont il s’était vanté face à l’Ivoirien Abdoulaye Dembélé à Abidjan. Cette nouvelle défaite n’est donc pas faite pour arranger son palmarès déjà bien garni par une série de revers.
De toute évidence, l'athlète de 42 ans a été pris au dépourvu par une énorme frappe de son adversaire, aussitôt après le gong. Une frappe à la tempe qui l'a envoyé au sol. Il aura fallu à Kola Sucré une dizaine de secondes pour se remettre sur pieds avec l’aide d’autres personnes. Pendant qu’il retrouvait ses esprits, Serge Ndjock célébrait déjà sa victoire qui lui a été logiquement accordée par les juges du match.
